Once upon time there once were  2 boys and one girl who went to a volcano in  1956 of feb 30th.Their names are Robert and Sam and Julie. When Julie and Sam went to find something to eat. Robert decided to jump off the volcano.But lucky there was a long stick that was hanging.So Robert hung on to the stick about 1 hour. After 1 hour Sam and Julie arrived. Than Julie said to Sam “ where’s Robert ” she shouted. Then Robert shouted and said  “I'm here help me”. So Julie and Sam help him up and then they had Something to eat .So they Live happily ever after.

Today I’m writing about a short tailed bat. A short tailed bat is a New Zealand native animal.

Habitat:

Did you know that a short tailed bat lives in native forests in New Zealand.They roost in large, hollow trees and the caves. Sometimes they live alone and sometimes in colonies. They mostly live in the South Island and a little bit in the  North Island.

A short tailed bat is the same size as a person’s thumb. They have sharp claws  sharp teeth also a strange nose. Short tailed bats are coloured in mousy grey colour.  They have  a large pointy ears that’s brown and  they have wings . the short tailed bat has thick fur

Diet :

A short tailed bat likes to eat insects like  flies and moths. They also eat flowers , fruits and nectar. beetles and  pollen.

characteristics :

The short tailed bat is a  nocturnal and  some of  the short tailed bats is the only member of the family. They hunt their prey using scent, passive hearing. A short tailed bats spend only around 30%  catching insects in the air.One Fact that I know was that a short tailed bat weigh around 12 - 15 grams.

My Holiday Writing

Guest what? It was school holidays and it was cool. On Saturday  I went to the Mangere Pools with my cousins and my brothers and  sisters.  We went to the pools because it was too hot , We went in my aunty car and her name is Riva . In the car there was  only six seats and there was nine people that can’t fit in the car.   At the pools there was a small volcano and a slide.

the first week I went to my uncle's house for the night.My uncles name is Adrian And he lives in manakau . When I  arrive to my uncle’s house I played on his play station three. The game that I played was Halo 3 it was boring because you have to shoot monsters and people. So then I went to my mum and asked for her my tablet. I played Rail Rush.When I was playing on the tablet I got 150 nuggets and one egg.So when I click the egg I had 500 nuggets so I have 650 nuggets.

On the second week I went to the pools with my cousin’s and my two brothers.When I arrive We all rushed inside the pool and played touch with my uncle , After that I had “lunch”.I had hot chips and ham sandwiches. After I finished I got changed in the girls room.After that I went to countdown and got a just juice.Later on we decided to go home and play on the xbox 360.

On the Last day I went to my aunt's and uncle's  house to play with my cousin Sina. We had a water fight with the water balloons.We bought 3 packets of

water balloons and When We had a water fight we started to play tag with my brother a.My brother’s name is Sam and he is 14 years old and he goes to Tamaki college.

My favourite part was when I went to the pools. One thing that I enjoyed the most was spending time with my Uncle Adrian. I hope next time is that my mum could take me to paint ball.  

Butter butter butter

Room 8 was making butter with fresh cream and a little bit of salt.Have you made homemade butter before ? “Wow” did you know that this morning it was really  awesome , because we get to make  homemade butter.We only get  to take 2 shakes then 4 shakes.

Guest what did you know that you can make butter with 100% best cream and a little bit of salt ? That's so easy right. Did you know that Room 8 literacy  made homemade butter it was nice and delicious

Yum ! Tasting homemade butter that’s really delicious . Room 8 literacy get to taste homemade  butter  with fresh bread , It taste like normal butter.     

Homemade butter is really delicious . My favourite part was when Room 8 literacy class was shaking the jar so that the cream can get thick.

my basktball

“Have you play Basketball before”past seven weeks Miss Lavakula  maths class has been practicing basketball every Monday.

Our coaches are Vinnie and Shanice.They have told us how to play golden child .To play golden child you need two teams . So the first team has to shoot the ball in the hoop and the second team has to run around the hall. You have to make it to the end before the ball gets into the hoop.

The skills that we done was double dribble and dribbling , travelling, Also jump stop.  

I felt excited like a monkey finding bananas.While i was running , i was boiling like a jug and  my heart was pounding.  I felt hot like I was in a spa pool.

 

 

Nepal's earthquake

There was a powerful earthquake that struck the country. 

Nepal's was expecting a bigger aftershock.Thousands of people was missing and needed rescue.People were searching for through rubble for survivors.There were outbreak of disease that was spreading through Nepal.

“Wow” On the long Holiday I went to my aunt's  baby  shower . I went on sunday of 26 april 2015 at 11:00 am . Because it was my aunt’s baby shower  And the baby is a boy . I came in a van  With my mum and my cousin and my niece also my other Cousin . It was at panmure it Started at Afternoon About 12:00 pm .

When we Arrived to my aunt’s house I went inside and we went to say hi  to my cousin and my aunty and uncle  Also my dad . after that we had dinner . And we had Crab salad and sandwiches also desert. For our dessert we had cupcakes with blue icing on top .  And Ice cream it was Cookie and Cream it was fantastic. and after that we went to say goodbye to my uncle and my aunt’s and my cousin.

I felt happy and I wish and hope that next time that my mum and dad will take me to rainbow's end. And also i hope that it won't  rain and storming . My other reason for next long holiday I wish that we can go down the line .To see my aunty and uncle And my cousin. Or maybe I think next time i wish that My mum and dad can take me to the beach.
